Our Client is seeking to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager. You will be responsible for the project based procurement activity including the development and execution of an efficient supply chain and the procurement of relevant goods and services.  You shall undertake contract negotiation and development ensuring effective risk mitigation and compliance. 

You shall engage with relevant stakeholders to develop new and revised product specifications, source potential suppliers and negotiate costs.  You shall undertake supplier management and actively report to supplier capability and effectiveness.

To be considered for this role you shall be delivery focused and experience in engineering/construction project based procurement, you shall have a proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain strategy and project managing large scale procurement in an engineering or construction environment 

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic professional attitude and a strong commercial awareness. You will be able to deal directly and communicate effectively with clients, external bodies and other internal staff at senior manager and board level. Your background will be in a Purchasing/Procurement Management.

Salary band 30-40k depending on experience and to be discussed at Interview Level.
