Vacancy Information Our Client are one of the leading specialists in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of all types of Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation Systems providing full turnkey projects to the Building Services Industry
Based on site the Site Supervisor will be responsible for the planning, management and control of on-site installations.
Responsibilities will include: - Representation of the company at client meetings
- Preparation of detailed programme of works
- Identifying delays to the programme and taking appropriate action
- To control directly employed or sub-contracted labour on a daily basis and work shifts if required, to complete the project in accordance with the agreed programme within budget
- Arrange phased deliveries of plant and materials
- Coordination of services
- Ensure queries are quickly dealt with
- Prepare/assist with method statements and risk assessments.
- Health and safety in general
- Carry out site surveys and dilapidation reports both individually and with specialist sub-contractors
- Induct and give tool box talks with all site operatives
- Document, i.e log and cost, all additional works required by the client or clients representative
- Keep and maintain a site dairy.
- Produce Operation and Maintenance manuals
- Ensure that the proper dress code as expected by the company is adhered to by the installation engineers and appointed sub-contractors
- Report to line manager with written weekly report
