Our client is a medium sized sub-contractor working in the Refurbishment Sector.

They are looking for someone that can match the following requirements.

FINANCIAL DIMENSION           Achieve maximum profitability within customer constraints.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES         To assist the Commercial Manager in the performance of his duties.

Promote the Company to new and existing customers.

Enhance the Company client, main contractor and sub contractor base.

Meet deadlines set by the Commercial Manager.

Liaise with clients and main contractors to gain opportunities for contracts.

Provide monthly cost value reconciliation reports on live     projects.

Compile monthly applications for payments.

Assist with compiling cost plans for submission to Client / Consultant Quantity Surveyors.

Assist with compiling claims for delay and disruption for submission.

Ensure all quotations meet the Company’s agreed minimum

Contribution margins.

Attend pre-contract meetings to promote the Company’s tender/quotation offer, and clarify all client changes in specification costs, and terms of trading.

Analyse cost reports, and advise Accounts department of anomalies.

Operation of Navision estimating system for production of orders. 

PERSONAL SKILLS

REQUIRED                               Excellent numeracy skills.

                                                Analytical / methodical approach to work.

Working knowledge of construction industry.

Understanding of quantity surveying function.

Strong customer focus.           

                                                Awareness of Health & Safety regulations.

                                                Political awareness.

                                                Teaming working skills.
